1. talking about mental health. Statistically speaking, it’s really flipping common. Given that what we resist, persists...The sooner we feel safe talking about it the sooner we can heal. ⁣
⁣
2. asking for help. You’re not expected to do health, business or life alone. It’s ok to need support sometimes. In fact, it’s necessary. ⁣
⁣
3. having different opinions and being wrong sometimes. Somewhere along the line we learned that being different or being wrong are the worst possible things that can happen to us. They’re not. Being presented new information and healthy debate provides an opportunity for growth & connection. In fact, it’s what makes you, you and me, me.⁣
⁣
4. having stretch marks and cellulite. I have stretch marks on my boobs because I went from being flat chested to a D cup rapidly when I was a teen. I got stretch marks on my legs when I put on weight at 16. I got stretch marks on my bum when I began weight training. Do they make me less beautiful? No. If you still think stretch marks and cellulite make someone less attractive you can kindly f#ck off. ⁣

5. listening to your intuition over statistics or societal expectations. Many of the decisions in my life which turned out to be the best decisions I’ve ever made, didn’t always make logical ‘sense’. You can’t SEE your intuition and you can’t always measure it in a lab but it doesn’t mean there’s not magic occurring that makes it a reliable source of information. ⁣

6. changing your opinion on something when presented with new information (not judging yourself/others for contradicting something you/they said in the past). As the saying goes “forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn’t know before you learned it.” ⁣

It’s not always easy to show up and ‘do the th

It’s not always easy to show up and ‘do the thing’ when it doesn’t feel like the results are paying off just yet. I get it.⁣
⁣
But success isn’t at the end destination, it’s an accumulation of small wins. The end is where you *feel* your success most, but it’s actually in the journey itself.⁣
⁣
Here’s what a typical scenario of what success looks like 👇🏻⁣
⁣
Every day for 100 days, you will get up and take the required action. ⁣
⁣
For 100 days you will feel little to no success… ⁣
⁣
Then on the 101th day it happens - you see the ‘result’ of your efforts and you ‘feel’ the accomplishment! ⚡️⁣
⁣
I can’t tell you exactly when it will happen, but if you keep consistent and you work at it every today, one day it will happen.⁣
⁣
Read that again… “keep consistent” (i.e be patient) and “work at it everyday” (i.e put in effort).⁣
⁣
It’s important to note that rest, recovery and play are part of the journey.⁣
⁣
Otherwise you’re just burning a candle at both ends...⁣
⁣
So slowing down & feeling into trust is part of the “work” too🦋⁣
⁣
If you can’t do something forever, by definition, it’s not sustainable.⁣
⁣
So if you want ‘success’ to be sustained, you need to look at it from a different angle and re-define how you measure it.⁣
⁣
Put yourself in the shoes of your future self… the one who has already achieved what you are working toward 💭 ⁣
⁣
🌈What insight can she offer you in getting there? ⁣
🌈What does she have to say to you? ⁣
🌈What is one thing that she needs you to do today to get there? ⁣
⁣
You’ve got this girl! ⁣

✨Trust that each day is moving you closer to the goal.⁣
✨Know that rest (being) is where we *attract* our desires after we lay the foundations (doing).⁣
✨Push hard when it feels good. Slow down when it feels aligned.⁣
✨Surrender the need to control the “how” because the magic is in the surprise!⁣
✨Focus on enjoying the present, the trial and error, the learning and growing and less on rushing the need for the outcome. ⁣
⁣
As soon as you realise that there is no end destination, only moments, the sooner you will feel free.☺️⁣

Protein is one of the main macronutrients. A macronutrient is a nutrient you need in MACRO (large) amounts. So yes, you do need protein🙏🏻⁣

So, how much?⁣
⁣
Personally, I set my clients protein target at anywhere from 1.6-2.2 x body weight (so if a client weighed 70kgs, I could multiply 70 by a number within that range (for the sake of this, let’s say 2). 70 x 2 = 140g protein per day.⁣
⁣
Do you need to supplement protein?⁣
⁣
It depends if you get adequate protein through diet alone (foods that contain protein are nuts, beans, legumes, seeds, tofu, milk, cheese, eggs, meat & fish) 🥜 ⁣
⁣
For many people including myself, we don’t (especially given I follow a predominately plant-based diet 🌱). So protein powder is a fab way for me to increase my protein consumption!⁣

⚡️it is the most filling macronutrient (surprised?)
⚡️ it repairs and supports cells and tissues⁣

There’s a lot of new faces here so I thought I’d share some random facts about me (plus whenever I see people I know do this I’m STILL surprised and I love it 😂)⁣

1. 3 things I LOVE and could have in abundance are cute mugs, cute pajamas, and cute stationary (alllllll the highlighters and pink notebooks please & thankyou) 📓 ⁣

2. I’m a Leo baby 🦁 ⁣

3. I have 2 brothers that are both older than me and I had to work so hard as a child to be allowed to play with them. I’d literally hustle and you bet I’d share my lolly bags after a party to get in their good books. A**holes. 🤣⁣

4. I’ve been to Bali, Thailand, USA & Mexico. I was supposed to be in Europe RIGHT NOW, but you know, the world had other plans and stuff 🤪⁣

5. I’ve been predominantly plant-based for 1 year and 8 months now - for the animals 🐮 ⁣

6. I suffered from binge eating disorder and body dysmorphia in my past, which is why my biggest passion is helping women heal their relationship with food and their bodies 💕⁣

The other day I opened up to you guys about how much inner work I’ve done over the past few years, especially on money mindset and self-worth.⁣

I have grown, a lot. I’ve moved from a scarcity/lack mindset to an abundance mindset.⁣
⁣
But the other day I had a huge “AH-HA” moment listening to a podcast by @manifestationbabe ⁣
⁣
I realised I’m still holding onto some BS and I need to LET GO.⁣
⁣
1. None of my current goals scare me. Over the past year I set some big, ambitious goals. I’m grateful to say I’ve achieved pretty much all of them. So I sat down, upgraded my vision board and re-set some goals. But reflecting back on them… they’re big but they don’t scare me. I’m playing it safe because of how much I’ve pushed myself out of my comfort zone this year. I kind of wanted to trick myself into thinking I can just chill now bc the hard works done LOL 😝⁣

2. I am afraid of admitting my desires because I fear judgement. I am a BIG dreamer. I want a BIG life. I always want to keep growing. But I also feel afraid that taking things to ‘the next level’ would mean I’m too much for people. I fear that being rich will mean people won’t like me. I’m scared that having big goals will make people think less of me (even if I’m a good person!).🥵⁣
⁣
So I vowed to stop letting BS hold me back and I invited you to do the same…⁣
⁣
🌈Here’s some of the things you badass b*tches vowed to let go of:⁣
> That I am not capable of reaching a certain level of financial abundance⁣
> Failing at starting my own business⁣
> Being judged by others⁣
> Fear to try something and possibly fail⁣

> Being scared to level up incase it makes others uncomfortable/feel left behind⁣
> The idea that I need a stable or ‘normal’ job⁣
> Putting everyone before myself⁣

You can pivot and change direction as many times as you want and you don’t need a reason. ⁣

I am a health and mindset coach… ⁣
I’m also a daughter, sister, girlfriend & dog mum.⁣

I like going on nature walks, talking about the universe, listening to podcasts, running, eating healthy…⁣
⁣
But I also like watching dumb YouTube videos that make me laugh until my belly hurts, lying in bed and watching Netflix, going out clubbing and having too many bevs (like once a year lol) but you get the point.⁣
I’m multi-faceted and I sure as hell don’t fit in a box.⁣

When I removed the expectation that I have to consistently maintain a certain energy or persona all the time, I began embracing all sides of myself. ⁣

When I discovered that I can have more than one identity and that I don’t have to fit into one mould, everything changed. ⁣
⁣
When I accepted that I don’t have to remain consistent because that is what others expect from me, I began to experience tremendous growth and I became more complex and happy human being. ⁣
⁣
There is space in this world for me, as me. I am constantly evolving and changing. There are no limits on the space I hold in this universe.⁣
⁣
You are free to be whoever you want to be and you can do whatever you want in this world. ⁣
⁣
You do not have a set identity. You can change it as many times as you like. ⁣
⁣
Just be you, and only you🦋

A 7.5km coastal walk to our fave cafe 🌊 ⁣
An almond iced coffee ☕️⁣
Delicious, plant-based breakfast at home 🌱⁣
Tidying the house 🏠 ⁣
Re-vamping & organizing the pantry 🧼 ⁣
Grocery & plant shopping 🌿⁣
Potting the new plant babes outside in the sun 🌞⁣
Snugs on the couch and binge watching Lucifer 😈⁣
⁣
There’s so many restrictions right now, but finding gratitude in the little things helps.⁣
⁣
Today I felt grateful for the sunshine, Osc and our fur babes, where we live, contacts (this is so random but sometimes when I’m putting in my contacts I think ‘imagine if we hadn’t invented contacts and glasses?! my life would actually be so different...) andddd my health 💕⁣
